The GNU Upgrade C2X Wide men's snowboard is a high-performance all-mountain model designed for riders who want to combine stability at high speeds, precise turn control, and playfulness in freestyle riding. The design is based on GNU’s many years of development and the work of Jeff “Hendo” Henderson. Thanks to the combination of the C2X hybrid profile, Magne-Traction® technology, and carbon reinforcement, the board offers an energetic response, good power transfer, and reliable control on various types of snow.

- Wide – wider snowboard design: refers to a snowboard with a wider construction in the waist area, which provides more space for larger sizes of snowboard boots. A wider board helps limit the amount the toe and heel of the boots extend beyond the snowboard’s edges, thereby reducing the risk of them coming into contact with the snow when carving deeper into a turn
- Shape: Directional Twin combines the characteristics of a classic twin snowboard with a directional shape. The tip and tail are very similar in shape, so the snowboard offers balanced riding characteristics when riding in the regular direction as well as switch (backward). At the same time, it features a slightly directional design—such as a rider stance shifted toward the tail—which improves stability and control when riding forward

- C2X – hybrid profile: combines a short rocker between the bindings with a more pronounced camber under the rear foot and a longer camber toward the tip. The result is a combination of playfulness, flexibility, and stability that promotes precise turn initiation, good response on takeoffs, and confidence at higher speeds
- Magne-Traction® edges: The specially shaped undulations of the steel edges create multiple points of contact with the snow. This design improves grip when riding on hard and icy surfaces and helps maintain control even in more challenging conditions
- G Lite 2 wood core: combines aspen and paulownia wood. It offers the light weight, strength, and flexibility needed for dynamic riding. The construction is complemented by a combination of biaxial and triaxial fiberglass with carbon reinforcements for better energy transfer and a livelier kick.
