The SP Base + snowboard binding is a versatile model designed primarily for beginner and recreational snowboarders looking for comfort, simple handling, and easy entry without unnecessary complications. Thanks to the FASTEC® Dual Entry system, they allow for quick fastening using the flip-up heel piece as well as classic fastening with ratchets. The lightweight construction, comfortable padding, and more forgiving flex make it easier to learn new skills and enhance the enjoyment of all-day riding on the slopes and in the snowpark.
Flex: medium (4/5) – supports natural leg movement, makes controlling the snowboard easier, and helps beginners gradually gain confidence
The FASTEC® Dual Entry system offers two ways to fasten the bindings, so you can choose between quick entry via the flip-up heel cup and classic fastening with ratchets
- The Fast Entry system allows you to open the heel cup and the lever, slide your boot into the binding, close the heel cup, and secure the ankle strap—making it easier and faster to get ready to ride
- The Classic Entry system allows you to open the ratchets, insert your boot into the binding, and then securely fasten the individual straps as needed
- The flip-up heel piece makes it easier to step in and out, which you’ll especially appreciate when taking your snowboard on and off frequently throughout the day
- The lightweight construction reduces the overall weight of your gear and contributes to comfortable use throughout the day on the mountain
- Aircraft-grade aluminum combined with reinforced plastics ensures the construction’s strength, durability, and low weight
- A comfortable EVA insole helps absorb vibrations and shocks while riding and during landings, contributing to greater comfort
- The design emphasizes ease of use, reliable performance, and easy handling during everyday riding
- The binding is compatible with standard snowboard boots and common snowboard mounting systems
- Suitable for beginners and recreational riders who want to improve their technique and gradually gain more control over their snowboard
- Versatile use includes relaxed riding on the slopes, basic freestyle, and gradually exploring different parts of the mountain
- This model is suitable for riders who prioritize comfort, easy fastening, and an affordable price over a very stiff, race-oriented response
