The microfibres in SilkTouch are smaller in diameter than conventional fibres, so there are several times more of them in the same knit. This means there are more surface areas and interfiber spaces in the knit to wick away sweat thanks to the microfibers. This is more efficient compared to conventional polyester materials and the knitted fabric is also softer and more comfortable to the touch. There is a wide elastic band at the waist for optimum wearing comfort and, thanks to the flat seams, there is no risk of blisters or skin irritation.
