The GNU Facts Banana snowboard is a versatile model for riders who want fun across the board - park, slopes and lighter freeride. Featuring a "Hybrid Banana" profile (slight rocker between the bindings + subtle camber under the tip and tail) and Magne-Traction wavy edges, it offers smoothness, playfulness and great traction on hard snow. The "Directional Twin" shape allows you to ride regular and switch with a slight offset for better float in light terrain.
- flex: Original Banana Hybrid - a rocker between bindings with a slight camber in the nose and tail for easy arc initiation, good float and control.
- flex: medium (4-5/10)
- Shape: Directional Twin - symmetrical flex for regular and switch riding, with a slight toe offset for better float.
- suitable for: freestyle, all-mountain
- designed for: beginner, intermediate
- Magne-Traction® is a special corrugated edge with 7 contact points. The normal board has only 2. This makes the ride on the edge much more stable, which is especially noticeable on hard or icy slopes. The Magne Traction® doesn't need to be sanded as often as a normal edge so you can still enjoy incredible grip when riding.
